A Garden Plan

We are a retired couple, Allison and Barry, living in south Louisiana, near the Gulf Coast. We are slowly turning our property into a small farm and now have the time. We are primarily interested in growing our own vegetables and maybe raising a few egg laying hens. We are also preserving our forested acreage, enjoying the dark night sky and the celestial sights we see.

Dark Sky Farm is a record in progress, shaped by seasons, weather, and time. Like the farm itself, the blog will grow, change, and occasionally rest. Thank you for being here and for taking the time to look closely, both at the land and at the sky above it.
